Pioneer Energy’s Current Technology Platforms
Pioneer Energy’s technologies are organized into two primary solution categories: systems that condition and utilize field gas streams, and systems that stabilize produced crude oil for storage and transport.
Pegasus® Field Gas Conditioning Systems
Technologies designed to process raw field gas and tank vapors for use as fuel gas, power generation feedstock, or other on-site energy applications.
The Pegasus family of modular field gas conditioning systems is designed to accommodate a wide range of flow rates, gas compositions, and inlet pressures, allowing operators to select the appropriate platform for their specific operating conditions.

Modular Solutions for Oil & Gas Applications
Pioneer’s current product lines reflect the company’s expertise in field gas conditioning and in crude oil conditioning. The company also offers a number of other innovative products which augment the company’s primary product offerings or solve other common oilfield problems.
Unlike other technology providers who oftentimes take a one-size-fits-all approach, Pioneer Energy recognizes that the one constant in the oilfield is change, and that no two oilfield projects are exactly the same. The company employs a building blocks approach, where our core technologies have been designed and built to cover a wide range of Applications, flow-rates and input compositions while still being mindful of CAPEX vs flexibility trade-offs. Equipment can be customized in both configuration and design to accommodate your actual project needs. Pioneer can also work with preferred third-party suppliers to provide other support equipment needed for a complete hydrocarbon processing solution, including H2S and inerts removal, product storage tanks, gas compressors, and natural gas generators, as well as equipment to support CNG, LNG and GTL systems.

Pioneer Energy uses industry-leading components, but our modular approach enables us to be more capital efficient than custom engineering projects, with the end result being a much shorter ROI. Our integrated software, hardware, and cloud-enabled systems provide state-of-the-art remote command and control capabilities with historical data collection and analysis. Incorporation of machine learning and AI further optimizes hydrocarbon product output through continuous processing optimization and improved uptime. Extensive experience in the field makes our solutions resilient to common issues such as freeze-ups, hydrate formation, intermittent flows, composition variation, wide range changes in ambient temperature, paraffin deposition, scaling and more.
With Pioneer Energy’s products, you will experience higher uptime and better quality and volume of production.

Pioneer’s Integrated Technology Approach
Pioneer is a vertically integrated company. Through interactions with customers, our in-house engineering team conceives of new innovative technologies and then designs engineered skid-packaged solutions intended to be easily deployed, requiring a minimum of field labor for maintenance and operations, and meeting all relevant oilfield codes and standards. Our fabrication team manufactures these systems at our factory headquarters location in Colorado, including in-house fabrication of ASME code stamped pressure vessels, UL 508-A rated electrical panels, and controls and HMI development.

An expert field crew, which is embedded as a vital element of the engineering team, trains customer personnel on operations and maintenance, and provides on-going warranty support. This support is provided by them directly and by a network of trusted third-party field organizations which they direct. This Pioneer operations team also brings lessons learned from the field back to engineering as part of the company’s continuous improvement efforts.
