The Pegasus VC is provided in a ruggedized 20’ skid package, enabling rapid deployment at field locations. It accepts tank vapors captured with a VRU compressor or associated gas from a 150 to 220 PSI source and provides up to 450 Mscfd of vapor and gas processing capacity. The system can be easily paralleled to provide even greater capacity.

Pegasus VC - Applications

The Pegasus VC is ideally suited to extract heavy hydrocarbons and water, producing
Y-grade NGLs and conditioned fuel gas. It is a good fit for the following applications:

TANK VAPOR CAPTURE

FIELD GAS FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES

FIELD GAS FOR
GAS COMPRESSORS

FIELD GAS FOR DRILLING RIGS

FLARE GAS CAPTURE

Pegasus VC – Features & Capabilities

Performance – Conditions most field gas to a CAT Methane Number of 55+

Capacity – Provides up to 450 Mscfd of gas processing with significant turndown. Easily paralleled to process whatever volume of hydrocarbons may be required for tank vapor capture and other applications.

High Availability – Proprietary software and robust hardware enables high availability, which greatly improves economic return.

Operating Pressure 150 to 220 PSI. For tank vapor capture applications, the unit is easily paired with one of any number of readily available vapor recovery unit compressors (VRUs) to provide the necessary processing pressure.

Robust ConstructionBuilt tough to withstand rough oilfield environments.

Highly Mobile – The Pegasus VC is a 20’ long skid-based system with quick and easy
disconnects. It is designed for easy teardown, transport and setup.

Liquid Return or Optional NGLs – The Pegasus VC can return liquid residue to a
return line (if available). The onboard stabilizer can also be used to produce Y-Grade NGLs, providing the flexibility to produce a truckable product if desired.

Autonomous – Leveraging Pioneer's sophisticated control software, the Pegasus VC is designed to be easy to operate with simple push button controls, minimizing the required attention of field operations personnel.

Cloud Enabled – Real time status and diagnostic information provided from the onboard SCADA system is made available via cellular, local area network, or Starlink connection and stored in a secure online data historian for future reference. Customer or Pioneer technicians can log in for remote configuration, monitoring & control, and status and alerts can be set to automatically push to relevant stakeholders via text message and email.

Additional Functionality – Fuel filtration, heating & gas manifolding can be provided with the Pegasus VC through the addition of a separate stand-alone module (Field Gas Filtering, Heating & Manifolding Skids), or the design can be customized to incorporate these elements onboard.

Safe – Built for full compliance with all relevant oilfield equipment standards, including all ASME code stamped vessels and Class 1 Div 2 compliance, the Pegasus VC design has also been subjected to a rigorous HAZOP process. The Pegasus VC can be connected on each site with the customer's systems for permissives and emergency stop controls.

The Pegasus VC can accept a wide range of input gas compositions, providing moderate gas conditioning and, for rich vapor streams, exceptional liquids & water removal.

Pegasus VC – Performance in Field Gas Conditioning & Tank Vapor Capture

The Pegasus VC excels at heavy hydrocarbon extraction from very rich gas streams like oil tank battery vapors, producing significant volumes of NGLs in most tank vapor capture applications.

The conditioned gas output in most situations is provided at a CAT methane number of 55 or greater, with consistent fuel pressure, temperature & quantity and no free water or condensables. In either tank vapor capture or field gas conditioning applications, the unit can provide outstanding economic return.
