Pegasus Mini HP
Field Gas Conditioning System

The Pegasus Mini HP is a Refrigerated JT (RJT) designed for field gas conditioning, providing the removal of heavy hydrocarbons and water from higher pressure raw input gas. It is ideally suited for several applications, including conditioning raw gas from the output of a gas lift compressor, significantly improving gas lift operation and uptime, as well as supplying consistent high-quality fuel for pilots and heater treaters.

The Pegasus Mini HP is provided in a ruggedized 34’ skid package, enabling rapid deployment at field locations. It accepts associated gas from a 800 to 1,200 PSI source and provides up to 330 Mscfd of conditioned fuel gas at a regulated output pressure of 335 PSI and a regulated output temperature. The system can be easily paralleled to provide even greater capacity.

Pegasus Mini HP - Applications
The Pegasus Mini HP is a good fit for the following applications where a high-pressure gas source is available:
FIELD GAS CONDITIONING FOR GAS LIFT COMPRESSORS, PILOTS & BURNERS
FIELD GAS CONDITIONING FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES
FIELD GAS CONDITIONING FOR POWER GENERATION
FIELD GAS CONDITIONING FOR DRILLING RIGS
Pegasus Mini HP – Features & Capabilities

Performance – Conditions most higher-pressure field gas to a CAT Methane Number of 65+ with consistent output pressure and temperature.
Capacity – Provides up to 330 Mscfd of output conditioned gas with significant turndown. Easily paralleled to provide whatever fuel gas volume is required for gas lift engines, power generation or other on-site fuel gas consumers.
High Availability – Proprietary software and robust hardware enables high availability, which greatly improves economic return and is essential for mission critical oilfield applications.
Operating Pressure – 800 to 1,200 PSI. Output pressure regulated to 335 PSI.
Robust Construction – Built tough to withstand rough oilfield environments and the punishment of regularly occurring deployments and redeployments.
Highly Mobile – The Pegasus Mini HP is a 34’ long skid-based system with quick and easy disconnects. With appropriate planning and staging; teardown, transport and setup can be achieved in less than 24 hours.
Liquid Return – The Pegasus Mini HP can return liquid residue to a return line, low pressure collection drum, or liquid knockout for use or disposal.
Autonomous – Leveraging Pioneer's sophisticated control software, the Pegasus Mini HP is designed to be easy to operate with simple push button controls, minimizing the required attention of field operations personnel.

Cloud Enabled – Real time status and diagnostic information provided from the onboard SCADA system is made available via cellular, local area network, or Starlink connection and stored in a secure online data historian for future reference. Customer or Pioneer technicians can log in for remote configuration, monitoring & control, and status and alerts can be set to automatically push to relevant stakeholders via text message and email.
Additional Functionality – The system has an onboard heater to allow regulation of the output fuel gas temperature. Additional fuel filtration & gas manifolding can be provided with the Pegasus Mini HP through the addition of a separate stand-alone module (Field Gas Filtering, Heating & Manifolding Skids), or the design can be customized to incorporate these elements onboard.
Safe – Built for full compliance with all relevant oilfield equipment standards, including all ASME code stamped vessels and Class 1 Div 2 compliance, the Pegasus Mini HP design has also been subjected to a rigorous HAZOP process. The Pegasus Mini HP can be connected on each site with the customer's systems for permissives and emergency stop controls.

The Pegasus Mini HP can accept a wide range of input gas compositions at 800 to 1,200 PSI input pressures, providing field gas conditioning and liquids & water removal.
Pegasus Mini HP –Performance in Field Gas Conditioning
For most gas lift compressor engines, a CAT methane number of 65 or greater with consistent fuel pressure & temperature and no free water or condensables enables very good compressor uptime with far fewer maintenance shutdowns. The Pegasus Mini HP was designed to meet this need.
The units are designed to be paralleled to enable as much capacity as desired. The Pegasus Mini HP was designed to meet this need. The unit also excels at conditioning other higher pressure gas streams to produce conditioned fuel gas for drilling rigs, power generation, as well as for typical production facility equipment (heater treaters, separators, other site engines, flare pilots, etc.). The economical Pegasus Mini HP system can provide outstanding economic return through improved equipment uptime and reduced maintenance needs.
