Pegasus Dream
Field Gas Conditioning System

TM
The Pegasus Dream is a next generation mechanical refrigeration unit (MRU) and refrigerated Joule-Thomson (RJT) unit.
Building on more than a decade of mechanical refrigeration experience, the Pegasus Dream incorporates Pioneer’s latest features and technological innovations in a robust field proven platform.
The Pegasus Dream is provided in a ruggedized 30’ skid package, enabling rapid deployment at field locations. It accepts associated gas from a 100 to 585 PSI source and provides up to 4 MMscfd of gas processing capacity. The system can be easily paralleled to provide even greater capacity.

FIELD GAS FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES
POWER GENERATION & DATACENTERS
CNG PRODUCTION
FLARE GAS CAPTURE
MODULAR GAS PROCESSING PLANTS
Pegasus Dream Gas Conditioning - Features & Capabilities

High Performance - Conditions most field gas to a CAT Methane Number of 70+.
Large Capacity - Provides up to 4 MMscfd of gas processing with extreme turndown. Designed for easy paralleling to provide whatever gas processing capacity may be required.
High Availability – Proprietary software and robust hardware enables high availability with load balancing and failover, greatly improving economic return while being ideal for mission critical applications like datacenters.
Wide Operating Pressure – 80 to 600 PSI. Allowing operation without front end compression for less challenging applications, while enabling extremely high fuel quality and throughput when higher pressure is made available.
Universal Applicability – Supports lean and rich burn reciprocating engines as well as turbine applications.
Robust Construction – Built tough to withstand rough oilfield environments and the punishment of regularly occurring deployments and redeployments. Unique design elements enable no derate in extreme heat or cold. Highly reliability electrical actuators are used throughout the system and the electrical cabinets are external to the classified zone, eliminating the need for temperamental instrument air.
Highly Mobile – The Pegasus Dream is a 30’ long skid-based system with quick and easy disconnects. It is designed to travel with frac fleets from site to site. With appropriate planning, staging and sparing; teardown, transport and setup can be achieved in less than 24 hours.
Liquid Return or Optional NGLs – The Pegasus Dream can return liquid residue to a return line (if available). Alternatively, a stabilizer module can be added to the system, providing the flexibility to produce a truckable Y-grade NGL product if desired.
Autonomous – Leveraging Pioneer's sophisticated control software, the Pegasus Dream is designed to be easy to operate with simple push button controls, minimizing the required attention of field operations personnel.

Cloud Enabled – Real time status and diagnostic information provided from the onboard SCADA system is made available via cellular, local area network, or Starlink connection and stored in a secure online data historian for future reference. Customer or Pioneer technicians can log in for remote configuration, monitoring, control, and troubleshooting. Status and alerts can be set to automatically push to relevant stakeholders via text message and email.
Additional Functionality – Fuel filtration, heating & gas manifolding can be provided with the Pegasus Dream through the addition of a separate, Pioneer built, stand-alone module (Field Gas Filtering, Heating & Manifolding Skids) , or a Pioneer built stand-alone CNG Super Blender skid.
Safe – Built for full compliance with all relevant oilfield equipment standards, including ASME code stamped vessels, UL 508-A rated electrical panels, and Class 1 Div 2 compliance, the design has also been subjected to a rigorous HAZOP process. The Pegasus Dream can be connected on each site with the customer's systems for permissives and emergency stop controls.
Pegasus Dream
Superior Performance in Field Gas Conditioning

Providing a wide performance envelope, the Pegasus Dream can operate over input pressures between 100 and 585 PSI and can produce conditioned fuel gas in flow rates up to 4 MMscfd. Indicative performance is shown above for a typical 1,350 BTU HHV gas sample from the Permian Basin. End users can select the combination of input pressure and desired throughput to achieve their desired methane number target.
Pegasus Dream units are designed to be paralleled to enable as much capacity as desired. For most dual fuel Tier 4 engines, a CAT methane number of 65 or greater provides optimal diesel substitution rates while ensuring minimal or no engine derate. The Pegasus Dream delivers.
