Oil Producer Central Facility
Crude Stabilization

Oil Producer - Central Facility Crude Stabilization 5

Capture More Value from Your Crude Stream
Before it Leaves Your Facility

Use precise separation and stabilization

to optimize product composition and maximize total hydrocarbon value

Oil producers operating centralized facilities are increasingly handling crude streams with higher concentrations of light ends than their systems were originally designed to manage. As NGL-to-oil ratios rise, traditional surface processing often leaves more light components in the crude delivered downstream.

As a result, valuable hydrocarbons are frequently blended or transferred without being fully optimized, limiting the total value captured from production. In many cases, these components are ultimately recovered and monetized further downstream, rather than at the producer’s facility. In addition, producers are often subject to pricing deductions when crude does not meet transfer specifications, further reducing realized value.

Historically, light-end volumes were manageable, and this value loss was not material. Today, higher concentrations have shifted the economics creating a clear opportunity for producers to capture additional value through more precise separation and control of crude composition prior to transfer.

A Modular Approach to Crude Stabilization and Value Capture

Pioneer Energy’s Titan™ System provides a skid-based, modular solution to stabilize crude streams and optimize product composition directly at the central facility, without requiring a major infrastructure buildout.

Integrated with existing production and handling infrastructure, Titan™ System separates light ends from the crude stream, producing a stabilized, on-spec crude product that meets transfer specifications, helping avoid pricing deductions while recovering those light components as valuable Y-grade NGLs. This enables producers to control product quality and capture value that would otherwise be realized downstream by midstream or other third parties.

When blending is used, the system dynamically adjusts product composition to optimize the hydrocarbon mix and maximize overall value.

Produce On-Spec Crude and Avoid Pricing Penalties

Stabilize crude streams to a controlled vapor pressure (RVP) specification, helping avoid pricing deductions or rejection at transfer and improving delivery consistency.

Capture Additional Revenue from Existing Production

Recover and monetize light-end hydrocarbons that would otherwise remain in the crude stream or be sold at a discount, increasing total value per barrel.

Reduce Shrinkage and Preserve Crude Value

Optimize stabilization to remove only the necessary light ends, minimizing shrinkage while maintaining maximum value in the crude stream.
