Pioneer Energy Factory Grand Opening

Robert Zubrin, Sarah Landry, Congressman Perlmutter

On October 7, 2014, Pioneer Energy Inc., a Colorado-based developer of mobile oil and gas recovery technology, held a grand opening celebration for their new manufacturing facility in Lakewood, CO. The facility which has now begun commercial operations, is producing Pioneer Energy’s Mobile Alkane Gas Separator (MAGS) technology. This mobile natural gas processing system for use at oil wells extracts valuable natural gas liquids, produces dry methane which can replace diesel fuel in onsite generators, and dramatically reduces or completely eliminates the need for environmentally harmful flaring. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Congressman Ed Perlmutter, and Lakewood Mayor Bob Murphy attended the event. They joined Pioneer Energy President Dr. Robert Zubrin in addressing the crowd of over 200 attendees and in cutting the symbolic ribbon marking the grand opening of the facility. This video clip includes remarks made by Robert Zubrin, Sarah Landry (Director of Operations from the Colorado Oil & Gas Association and Congressman Perlmutter.
